MG Electronics / Clack Corp 15V power supply

The MG Electronics SL-150B005-EU, also sold as Clack Corporation V3286EU-06, is a 15V DC power supply with a long cable and a 4-pin 0.1in plug that is uesd to supply the Clack WS 1 control valve for water softening and filtration devices.
The WS1 has a full bridge rectifier right after the power plug, so it should not be picky about AC, DC or polarity, here is the power plug pinout anyway:

The power supply is well constructed, enought isolation between primary and secondary side, well isolated transformer, correct capacitors, etc
Nevertheless, the output rectification Schottky diode, type SS310FL (D7, lower left corner) had failed and was replaced with a SK310A (100V, 3A) Schottky diode.
The case is glued, but has alignment pins in the corners. If they are not sheared off when cracking the case, the unit is easy to glue back together.
